Your safety is our top priority. Here are our recommended guidelines for staying safe on DullDating and when meeting people you’ve connected with online.

Online Safety

• Never share your home address, workplace or financial information with someone you’ve just met
• Be cautious of anyone who asks for money, even if you’ve been chatting for a while
• Report suspicious behaviour using the in-app report button
• Use the DullDating messaging system — avoid moving to other platforms too quickly
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is

Meeting in Person

• Always meet for the first time in a busy public place during daylight hours
• Tell a friend or family member where you’re going and who you’re meeting
• Arrange your own transport — don’t rely on your date to get home
• Keep your phone charged and accessible
• Don’t leave drinks unattended
